Mason Smiles

This week has been so fun for us. Mason has really started smiling at everyone. His entire face lights up, starting with his eyes and then he opens his mouth in a wide, toothless grin. Its wonderful! And to top it off, the other day while I was putting him in his car seat I made him laugh! It was a complete accident and we have spent the past week trying to get him to do it again, to no avail.

I love that even with child number three, we can still rediscover and enjoy these little milestones. What a blessing these little children are in our lives! How Heavenly Father must love us so much to let us experience parenthood, with all its ups and downs! All the sleepless nights and dirty diapers are worth it when your baby looks you right in the eye and smiles! Or your toddler takes your face in his little hands and kisses you. Or your eight year old tells you they will always be "your girl"! I am so grateful to be a parent.
