A weekend with Grandma and Grandpa

This past weekend we visited with Grandpa and Grandma Hunter. They came out from Pennsylvania for a wedding - Fred's great-nephew Hunter Gaspar.

The wedding took place in Fallbrook which is just over the San Diego Co Line and about 15 miles inland. It was a beautiful weekend.

We spent much of our time at Douglas' cousin Tom's retirement home. (Wow! that was a mouthful!) His home is on a 5 acre lot, surrounded by a lime grove. There was a pool, all sorts of games, and a very fancy 4 wheeler. Addison was exhausted by the end of the weekend!

We miss grandma and grandpa and it was great to spend time with them! Hopefully they will be able to come and meet Baby Bash this fall.

FYI: did you know that our relative Sylvester Bash L Bennett was not named Bash L.? Bash was a nick name - for bashful. He hated Sylvester so had his name officially changed to Bash L Bennett. Don't know where he got the L, just threw that in. By the way, Grandma Shirley thinks it would be wonderful if you put Bash in there somewhere as no one has ever named anyone after her Grandpa and she loved him. No pressure though. :)

Well, if we named our son bash, it wouldn't be short for bashful it would be short for BASHER!!!!!
