Today Elias found a pair of red plastic binoculars in his closet. He called them "his cam-wa" to look at birds.
He carried them around all morning, even when we went to the mall. As we walked around, he kept looking through the binoculars and say , "Look, a bir-die!" Very endearing!

what a doll. man I wish you lived closer!
Can't wait to see him so I can hold him, squish him and kiss him. I know he doesn't like it, but tough.

What great pictures. It is lots of fun to read through your blogs. You're a great writer. Your family has some fun things going on. I love the food stories. Children naturally gravitate toward failure to thrive status. They think food is optional (candy isn't though). Not until Brooklyn was 7 did she really learn to love home cooked food.
And if Addison is interested the French call their "French Toast" pain perdue (said like: pan peardue) or lost bread. If bread is more than a day old it is too old to eat and essentially lost.
I'm sure I'll be back soon to comment on your food blogs- they are so interesting.
