I received a wonderful letter in the mail today and thought I'd share a bit . . .
We are pleased to inform you that your child, Addison has been chosen as one of the honorees of the third annual Kids with Heart, a recognition event sponsored by Pasadena Educational Foundation.
Your child was nominated by Christine Wielgosz (her teacher) for exemplifying wonderful qualities of caring and kindness that make them stand apart. Addison will receive a certificate of recognition, a $100 gift card to Paseo Colorado for themselves, and a certificate of recognition from Assembly member Anthony Portantino. . .
The award ceremony will take place on Thursday, May 14, 2009 from 4:00 - 5:30 in the main courtyard at Paseo Colorado.
Addison's teacher nominated her for all her hard work organizing school wide events for Earth Week. What a cool kid - and what a cool teacher!

not only is she amazing - she comes from some amazing parents. well done mom and dad, she learned alot from the two of you! and a big congrats to Addy, wow girl!!
